v2rayNG fails to load most images/videos in Bigo Live after ~10 minutes (works with Shadowsocks in Outline and 1.1.1.1)

When using v2rayNG with various protocols to access Bigo Live, the app initially works fine after a fresh install — images and videos load. However, after leaving the phone idle for ~10 minutes and reopening Bigo Live, ~80% of images (and many video previews) fail to load. The issue occurs across multiple protocols in v2rayNG and also happens with sing-box, but does not occur when using the same Shadowsocks configuration in Outline or when using the 1.1.1.1 app — in those cases media loads correctly.

Protocols / Configs tested (all showed the same problem in v2rayNG / sing-box)

vmess (ws + tls)

vless (xhttp, reality)

shadowsocks (ss) — in v2rayNG this fails; same shadowsocks config works in Outline

steps to reproduce

Install and configure v2rayNG with any of the above working server configs (for example, vmess ws tls or shadowsocks).

Launch Bigo Live — everything loads fine initially (images and videos).

Put the phone aside / lock or background the device for ~10 minutes.

Reopen Bigo Live.

Observe that ~80% of images and many video previews fail to load (stuck/blank).

Actual behavior

After ~10 minutes of inactivity, most images and some videos inside Bigo Live fail to load when proxied through v2rayNG (and sing-box).

Expected behavior

Media inside Bigo Live should continue to load reliably after backgrounding/idle time, similar to behavior observed when using the same shadowsocks config in Outline or using 1.1.1.1.

Additional observations

Using the same Shadowsocks server config in Outline results in no issue — images and videos load normally after idle.

Using the same Shadowsocks config in v2rayNG results in the problem, suggesting the issue may be related to how v2rayNG (or sing-box) handles keep-alive, connection reuse, or DNS/host resolution after idle time.

In v2rayNG only domain private block is enabled while all other categories are set to proxy (this setting was observed during testing).

I tested multiple protocols (vmess, vless, ss, trojan) — the issue appears protocol-agnostic in v2rayNG and sing-box but not present in Outline with the same shadowsocks config.

It appears related to client behavior (v2rayNG / sing-box) rather than the server or the Shadowsocks server, since Outline + same server works fine.
