I use age to encrypt directories of files: it works great! Now and then the directories contain executable scripts (bash, python etc.), the executable file permissions are not preserved, and I have to manually
chmodthe decrypted scripts.I'd love to skip the manual
chmod- would like to avoid encapsulating the directory content in a tar file.I'm curious how others have handled age and file-permissions!
