How to read content files generated?

We are using Joomla CMS, I am trying to scan the actual page content in the site that are generated in the CMS.

I'd like purgeCSS read through my site's pages including:

• /about/ - can read
• /work/example - can't read
• /blog/article1 - can't read

It seems to read files - not all page content. Is that possible?
What should I put in content: [],?
