Editor breaks suddenly

The metascript.cc website editor sometimes experiences sudden breaks, where the autocomplete feature completely stops working. When this happens, I encounter errors—similar to those shown in the images below—with every new character I type into the editor.

I haven't been able to figure out how to reproduce this error; it just happens suddenly.
