wiki ->PubSub overview should mention the following about the PubSub interface:
If you act as a device (username=device ID and PW=device generated token) you can BOTH publish and subscribe to the device's transducer.
If you act as the device owner (your own username), you can only subscribe to the device's topics but cannot publish to them.
