QoL Requst: Refresh Library Manager

Intro

As far as I can tell it is required to restart magic to refresh the Library Manager. I.e. after running select save some_new_cell, some_new_cell does not appear in the Library Manager, even if it is closed and re-opened. One must restart magic entirely to have it update.

Feature Request

Have the Library Manager refresh, ideally whenever focus is returned to it, or perhaps at a minimum when it is re-opened.

First off, this appears to be an issue with both the library manager and the cell manager.

The interface has been written with the intent that refreshes only occur when needed, and there are specific tag callbacks for that. So this is simply a matter of adding the library manager and cell manager dialog update callback routines to the list of callbacks executed on "select save", "save", or "writeall" (I think that's a comprehensive list).

For the unusual case where you might copy files into your working directory from elsewhere while you are still running magic, I suppose that a simple "Refresh" button in each of those windows would be a reasonable accommodation.

I just implemented this, which is now version 8.3.559 (on opencircuitdesign.com; will mirror to github overnight).
I fixed the behavior with respect to "select save" and "writeall", and also implemented the "Refresh" button just in case.
