Kind of an oddball problem here but it might affect other games as well; playing Red Dead Redemption 2 with the driver installed through VDD Control.exe causes a game crash whenever an input device is connected or disconnected. This includes mice, keyboards, wireless game controllers, etc.

Uninstalling the driver resolves the issue.
