Range Feature does not return null for invalid date #1221

@amaanjavedmissioncontrol

Description

Describe the bug
Inside of the action-row slot, the modelValue does not return null for invalid date range.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. In a datepicker with range and text-input enabled, select a valid date range. I.e. December 2, 2025 to December 5, 2025
  2. Click on the input box, and by typing, change the December 2 start date to any date > December 5. I.e. December 6, 2025.
  3. This does not set the value of modelValue to None, but rather, to the old correct date range - December 2 to December 5.

Expected behavior
The modelValue variable should have a null value, not the last available. I have a display function that I pass in the modelValue as a parameter for, that formats the input and displays it in the preview element.
