Support for user namespaces?

Reading https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/workloads/pods/user-namespaces/ I'm wondering whether ceph-fs PVCs support idmap mounts? The ceph driver in the kernel does seem to support it, although I'm not sure if some special mount option is required to enable it. Anyone tried this already?

As its a mount option, you can configure the kernelMountOption to include idmap, i doubt it works because of be below reason, Please give a try and see if it works

The cephCSI doesnt pass the GID and UID yet to the mount, this might be a new feature request for ceph-csi, Please create a cephcsi feature request.
