This extension doesn't appear to work. I followed the instructions, and a notification appears that it updated the "image has been replaced" but nothing seems to happen; image file is not downloaded and the markdown link does not change.

VSCode version 1.103.2

I have experienced some issues if the file I want to use it on is unsaved, try to see if it works when the file is saved beforehand

Saving the file beforehand didn't resolve the issue. I've tried multiple image sources, source file types, markdown link syntax, local folders and workspaces. The only log message is this:
