Multiple image file format support for Icons #173

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Supporting icons which are other file format would be interesting. Support for these image format would help a lot and prevent users from doing unnessesary image conversion. With support for more file format, users could use their file "as is" and skip the conversion step.
Describe the solution you'd like
Icons are sometimes available in png or svg image format. These file format would be the most important to support.

Manual conversion to ico file format for every file using an image software.
Additional context
This feature would really integrate well with #140. Web sites often defines their favicon in ico or png format.
