"Try with example data" from iwc failures due to metadata issues

There are issues with the upload of data when using the "try with example data" form iwc.

Issue 1

Trying to run with example data on main. When starting the invocation, scheduling fails with the error

Invocation scheduling failed because an unexpected failure occurred at step 5: 'Extension 'auto' unknown, cannot use dataset collection as input'

Collection has format "auto"

Error

Invocation scheduling failed because step 35 requires a dataset created by step 8779042, but dataset entered a failed state.

The first tool running on one of the tabular input fails wih the error :

Missing column types. In Galaxy, click the pencil icon on the history item and select the Auto-detect option to correct it.  This tool can only be used with tab-delimited data

The input looks correct
