I saw the discussion in https://kubernetes.slack.com/archives/C2P1JHS2E/p1763591840609879.

During the safer upgradation process, we may use --emulation-version and --min-compatibility-version.
To support it in kubeadm, it is not decided yet.

For now, I think kubeadm should do nothing, except a blog/guide about how to use extraArgs to complete the process.

+1. i think kubeadm should not wrap configuration that is already possible with extraArgs or component config.

on the topic of blog vs guide, i think a guide might be better, but up to sig-docs to say what is better.

Since the KEP is still alpha, I suggest we postpone the documentation until it reaches beta.

cc @siyuanfoundation, I’d value your input, and I hope that when we document the feature we’ll include how to use it in kubeadm in accordance with your documentation plan.
