I'm using Joplin Sync (Beta)

If I lose the connection from any Windows client to the server and click sync, the button stays in the "Cancel" state indefinitely. Even after closing and reopening the program, it remains in that state and I can no longer sync again.

I had to force resynchronization by deleting the local data and downloading it again from the server.

Expected behaviour

At the very least, I should be able to force the button back to the "Sync" state to try again later.

Did you try closing Joplin via the menu Quit option? Clicking the close button on the window just minimises to tray by default. I do find if internet cuts out during sync, I may need to quit the app completely to cancel the sync

This same synchronization issue has been happening to me on the Android clients.

I updated the server to the latest version, specifically "3.4.3 Joplin Server."

And all the problems have been resolved.
