Internal-error raised when running marimo WASM within quarto

I was really excited to discover the marimo extension for Quarto, but I have yet to make it work. I followed the exact instructions provided by the readme and the YouTube video " Introducing: the marimo-quarto plugin! ".

But no matter if I serve the quarto website locally or if I host it on GitHub Pages, I get the error internal-error: initial mode not found

Hmm, thank you for reporting. I think we need to bump the minimum version of marimo. You can manually set an older version in the meantime.

This should be fixed when we push 0.17.3 with marimo-team/marimo#6950

Woops, didn't mean to close. In the meantime, pinning the version should cause specific assets to download

I might be doing something wrong, but older versions are giving me the same error. I followed the steps in the README to create a new Quarto project:

quarto create project
quarto add marimo-team/quarto-marimo

Then I pasted the following into my index.qmd file:

marimo-version: 0.17.0
filters:
    - marimo-team/marimo
---

# Just another Quarto project

```python {.marimo}
#| echo: true
import marimo as mo
slider = mo.ui.slider(1, 10, 1, label="Look, a slider!")
slider
```

## More things

And we can respond!

# No echo here means we do not show the code
mo.md("NaN" * slider.value + " Batman!")
```

I have a related issue, namely, the website renders, but I don't see the interactive slider.
mo.md("...") is rendered in contrast.
