I'm not sure if this is already possible somehow, but I think it would be helpful if there was a command that repeated the last inserted template with the same values.
I have a template for org-mode that creates a src block, doing completing-read for the language and noweb-ref fields. Often I find myself having to make 2-4 distinct blocks with the same language and ref so I can intersperse text between them. Currently I either have to copy-paste the first block, or I have to enter the same template and fields several times.
