What does this do?

This PR updates core project dependencies to their latest versions and converts the project to use the eslint flat config.

  • Dependencies:
    • Upgrades expo, react-native, zustand, @tanstack/react-query, and related plugins to the latest versions.
    • Updates ESLint and Babel-related packages for improved linting and build compatibility.
    • Removes outdated or duplicate package versions and adds new ones as required by the latest releases.

Why did you do this?

  • Dependency Upgrades:
    • To keep the project up-to-date with the latest features, security patches, and performance improvements.
    • To ensure compatibility with the latest Expo and React Native ecosystem.
    • To reduce technical debt and avoid issues with deprecated or unsupported packages.

Who/what does this impact?

  • Developers:

    • Keeps the template up to date with the newest framework versions
  • Users:

    • Provides a consistent and user-friendly experience when lists are empty or loading.
    • Benefits from improved performance and stability due to dependency upgrades.

How did you test this?

  • Ran the app and checked for any issues or warnings related to the upgraded dependencies.
  • Ensured visual and functional consistency with the rest of the UI.
