Description of issue

Cubiomes viewer does not support macOS officially and doesn't provide any official .app builds. However, it's relatively easy to package, as I've done in my tap here. Should I try to contribute it to homebrew/core or are .app-producing formulae not accepted at all?

No, we won't accept it if macOS isn't officially supported. You're better off maintaining your tap, or helping upstream to add official support.
