I'd like to suggest merging the gradle and gradle-completion formulas.

My reasoning is that many formulas automatically install completion anyway. And gradle-completion is an official repo by Gradle.

Also, the size increase would be marginal, gradle-completion is just a bunch of shell code.

They have different source repositories so it's simpler and more efficient to keep them as separate formulae.

If what you're looking for is for brew install gradle to automatically install the completions too, then you can open a PR that makes gradle depend on gradle-completion. (See also docker and docker-completion.)
