Any tips on debugging? I'm not very familiar with how homebrew works; maybe someone just forgot to update the SHA after updating the dmg?

No, we test all packages to prevent this. In this case, the cask was updated 3 weeks ago (https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-cask/blob/36f84f89f9b3bd681c794ad221a663cfebc94d1b/Casks/a/artisan.rb), but the binaries are only 2 weeks old (https://github.com/artisan-roaster-scope/artisan/releases/tag/v3.4.0). Can you reach the upstream to confirm this change was intentional?
