Description of issue

I have contributed to homebrew-emacs-head, which allows users to build the cutting edge latest code of emacs from main/master into a macOS friendly app.

Until recently, building the formula would output a line 'your branch is N commits behind main' or something similar. This was very helpful, as it gave me or the user an idea how much new development was included in this rebuild. But I no longer see this report. I tried 'verbose' and 'debug' options, but no change.

Was this output removed recently? Is there a way to enable it?
