How manage refresh/event/log through advanced settings

I have some interrogations about how i could change how many times metrics are refresh and inventories as well, because i have a huge park to manage with a lot a technologies.
So i want to release a bit off resources from theses actions to made my appliances more stable.

Hi @Crankz31 the refresh schedule is controlled by the refresh_interval setting (https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/blob/master/config/settings.yml#L120) This is usually overridden by each provider type, so for example vsphere is here: https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-providers-vmware/blob/master/config/settings.yml#L21

NOTE the refresh_interval is a fallback and if your provider type has an event catcher we will do a small targeted refresh based on the event that happened.

Events are processed as they happen they aren't scheduled so that is only on or off.

Metrics frequency can be controlled by the performance_collection_interval setting here: https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/blob/master/config/settings.yml#L1142 You can also use the region level Capacity & Utilization settings to limit what we collect metrics for if you want to e.g. exclude a non-prod datacenter or specific hosts
