Dear ManageIQ Team,
I would like to report an issue regarding permissions in the Service UI of ManageIQ.
We are currently using the VMware vSphere version "Radjabov-1".
Issue Description:
It appears that user permissions are not being enforced correctly in the Service UI.
For example, the setting ServiceUI-My Order-View-Show does not control access to “My Orders” in the Service UI as expected, but instead controls access to “My Services”.
Similarly, other settings are also misaligned:
• My_Services-View gives access to “Service Catalog”
• Service_Catalog-View gives access to “My Orders”
The other settings under Service_UI - Service_Catalog/Order/Services seem to work as intended.
Steps to Reproduce:
Please let me know if you need any further details. :)
Additional Questions:
As we are currently evaluating the Service UI, I have a couple of questions:
2.Is there a way to handle drop-down multi-select fields similar to the default ManageIQ UI?
In ManageIQ, multi-selects in drop-downs allow selecting multiple items by opening the drop-down and clicking the desired items. In the Service UI, drop-downs with multi-select enabled are displayed as text fields, and multiple items can only be selected by holding “Shift” or “Ctrl” while selecting.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
niron-bnv
