Saving and Steps forward

Needs some more discussion but there are issues with usability with different browser accounts, different tabs, overwritten settings, etc.

Need to pinpoint how saved data is being overwritten and discuss how we want it to work for the way users will use WebIridium

I agree. I've looked at some other web apps (like this one https://www.tldraw.com/), and how they handle multiple tabs and what they do is synchronize state between tabs in realtime using one of the browser APIs for cross-tab communication.

Another approach is similar to classical apps like Word where you have documents associated with files, and those files are explicitly loaded. This is what the Jupyter Lab web app does: https://jupyter.org/try-jupyter/lab/.

My opinion is that a hybrid model is going to be best:

• documents: Similar to the "workspace" concept already in the codebase. Represents a single model. Users explicitly load this. Not allowed to have multiple tabs edit.
• settings: Synchronized in realtime across tabs.

We can have a starting screen similar to the JetBrains one:

These are just my initial thoughts. I think this would be a significant amount of work to implement though. Also not sure how this would integrate with the chat saving, that will probably have to be a third model
