Lookup field - show only latest record

I'm building an app with a "Projects" table that has a one-to-many relationship with a "Revisions" table (so each Project has several Revisions).
In the Projects table I have a Lookup field to Revisions (showing the "PDF" field) that currently shows me all the PDFs that were attached to each Revision. Is it possible to see only the PDF attached to the latest Revision?

You can use "conditional lookup" instead, it provides a limitation option

Thank you, I tried that but I can't really understand how to use it, I can't get it to work as I want.
I have to set some filtering criteria, but then I don't get any result or sometimes results that seem unrelated to the actual record.

Is there any in-depth documentation on Conditional Lookup?
