[Bug]: Zerotier VPN connection not working when Termux X11 is on the foreground

Problem description

Whenever Termux X11 is the foreground app, the VPN connection keeps hanging. When I move out of it and come back, I can see that in the meantime there was a connection. Just not when Termux X11 is on the foreground.

I'm on a Xiaomi Fold 3 (CN) with Android 14, and a;ready tried everything on dontkillmyapp.com

What steps will reproduce the bug?

1. Set up a Zerotier VPN connection
2. Ping to a Zerotier address with Termux X11 as the foreground app.
3. See how the ping doesn't respond, until Termux X11 isn't the foreground app anymore.

What is the expected behavior?

The connection shouldn't hang whenever Termux X11 is the foreground app.

How did you set up the zerotier connection to connect wirelessly?

You just install ZeroTier, join a network by entering the network ID. It doesn't matter if you're connected wirelessly or using ethernet; it just works (at least for me).

Most likely it is some device/firmware quirk. Termux:X11 does not touch anything network-related.

But it only happens with Termux X11, not with RDP Clients etc. and not even with Termux itself. I wonder what it is that triggers it / sets Termux X11 apart from other apps.

Removing com.miui.powerkeeper using Canta fixed this problem!
