Formatting and Style Loss During DOCX or PDF ↔ HTML Conversion in Tiptap Editor Workflow

1. When I convert a .docx or .pdf file to HTML and open it in the Tiptap editor, the formatting from the original .docx or .pdf file changes.
2. Additionally, when I edit content in Tiptap and send the resulting HTML to the backend, convert it to a .docx file or .pdf file, and then convert that .docx file or .pdf file back to HTML for viewing in Tiptap again — the formatting is further altered. Some styles, such as background colors and other formatting elements, are lost or not rendered correctly.

However, if I directly open the raw HTML (without converting it to .docx or .pdf and back), the formatting in Tiptap remains intact.
