Tracking an Event after returning to a Thank You page (Revenue)

So I have events setup on all my buttons, but sometimes people click to purchase they dont go through the checkout. Is there a way to set up the tracking so that after they click the button they have to return to a thank you page for the event to be logged?

Just trigger an event after your payment is successful with the appropriate metadata.
