Performance issues with large XML

Reproduction steps

• Use large XML with long lines so that the scroll view is scrollable in both directions.
• Try scrolling the document
• Observe sluggishness

How large are we talking? 👀

FWIW, I tried with a large markdown file (~5k lines) which triggers both scrollbars in Zed and was unable to reproduce the issue on zed@nightly on my macOS.
