added guide and image for rate calculations #631

vscode and github render markdown a little differently when it comes to equations so I had to add some newlines to make it render properly

Added new directory "guide". Inside the directory I added a markdown file that details how to calculate rate for a given generator. I also added a sub-directory "pictures" that contains 3 images that are used in the markdown file. I tried to keep the images small.
