This is a fork but this a purely new project.

It is a Maven project for Java only and has no dependencies on Android libraries.

Fixes since the forked version in initial commit:

• Fixed reconnection problem (connection was not restored after first reconect failure)
• Fixed freeze on WebSocket connections
